This was in Anthony Chabot Regional Park, just over the ridge from the city of Oakland and San Francisco Bay. The park itself felt very remote but you could still hear the faint noise of a bustling city.

Final shot of this spider. Her size is evident in this photograph. She was quite large. No flash was used for this, the sun was just perfectly positioned behind me.
I think maybe she was pregnant? That might explain her giant abdomen.
Boa tarde amigos,
Venho trazer notícias do Johny Cash(Luka), no sábado ele teve alta do Pet Care, fui buscá-lo e levá-lo para a casa do Vinicius.
Fiz o acerto com o Pet Care, paguei uma parte a vista(R$ 1.000,00) e dei uma parte no cheque pré-datado(R$ 862,00) para 30 dias(17/08), ele foi castrado, vacinado e vermifugado, graças a Deus correu tudo bem e ele já está no seu novo lar.
Ele terá como companhia a Catarina, uma linda Labradora, ela é maravilhosa, carinhosa, brincalhona e muito bem cuidada, eles estão se dando super bem, tem muito espaço na casa, um quintal enorme e maravilhoso, eles tem total acesso dentro de casa, realmente foi uma adoção enviada por Deus.
O Vinicius é uma pessoa do bem, super preocupado, cuidadoso, hoje já nos falamos, o Johny está bem, brinca o tempo todo com a Catarina, mas é um cachorro muito carente, ele quer carinho e atenção o tempo todo, não está querendo se alimentar, ainda está ressabiado com sua nova vida, mas é tudo uma questão de tempo e paciência, isto graças a Deus o Vinicius está tendo.
Agradeço de coração todos que ajudaram, os que torceram, oraram e divulgaram a estória do Johny Cash(Luka), peço que divulguem este e-mail para mostrar ele na sua nova vida, se alguém puder ajudar a terminar de pagar o Pet Care, me avise, por favor, o cheque cairá no dia 17/08.
Graças a Deus e a todos que participaram de mais este resgate, mais uma vida salva e mais um final feliz.

Photos from the final day of Longhorn Golf Camp - session 1. Campers competed in a 9 hole tournament - scramble and stroke play formats. Afterwards they were joined by the mascot (Hook em) for the camp awards ceremony. Among notable gifts included Jordan Spieth and Sergio Garcia signed items and team-only gear.
Our camp site for the 3 and final night of the Santa Cruz trek, just like all of our other camps on this trip, offered great views. The climate left something to be desired. It was brutally hot before the sun disapeared behind the mountain, and then quickly became cold and humid as soon as we were in shade. It was still a far better nights sleep than we had in the high winds of night 2.
After an inch of snow, these are some of the last leaves of Autumn. Taken in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
This is my final shot of the last few bursts of light in our third day in Maldives. The clouds are on fire from the light given by the sun from the horizon. The light gives the clouds an orange-yellow tint that makes it spectacular view!
Sunset @ Teluk Kumbar 2011
We were almost giving up when we were there shooting for sunset at Teluk Kumbar but never give up. We still setting up all the tripod equipment ready eventhough there is no sun shining throught the hugh cloud. But then in the final moment just befor the sun set behind the land.. the sun manage to get through the cloud for a 2-3 minutes before it's dissappear. Lesson learn.. never give up and weather is unpredictable
