Subject was placed on A1-sized black card I bought from an art store
To the left and above of subject: Lencarta EP300 studio strobe@1/4 power with spotlight attachment (metered at f7.1).
Camera left: Nikon sb28 (1/16), large shoot-through umbrella
Camera right: reflector (white card)
Trigger: PT04 (studio strobe was slave)
Note that the spotlight attachment is made by a 3rd party, not the one sold by Lencarta.

This year's Avison Ensemble Young Musicians' Awards 2014 Finals were held on Sunday 23 February 2014 at the Literary and Philosophical Society, Newcastle.
The Awards judges heard twelve finalists for the three categories of Grades 1-3, 4 - 6 and 7 and above and two small chamber groups. The winners were presented with engraved glass trophies created by the North East glass artist Dominic Fonde which are inscribed with music from the Avison workbooks. These are displayed in the winners' schools for a year. The Awards were founded in 2006 and this year's Awards have been supported by the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation. www.esmeefairbairn.org.uk
The Avison Ensemble is the outstanding period instrument orchestra based in Newcastle upon Tyne, which plays and popularises the music of Charles Avison (1709-1770) and other English classical composers of the Baroque period, such as Garth, Arne and Herschel. The Ensemble also performs Purcell, Handel, Vivaldi, Corelli, Geminiani, Pergolesi, Teleman, Rameau, Bach, Mozart, Haydn and Beethoven.

A selection of shots from the Open Doors event held in Oxford on September 12th 2015. Four buses provided by the Oxford Bus Museum ran a free service round the city departing every 15 minutes from the Railway Station.
Here, AEC Renown / Northern Counties FWL371E is seen in Parks Road. This particular bus was the final AEC Renown produced and was new to Oxford in 1967.
