So here is the final product for my marathon relay award (without the watermarks!). Not much different than the the original - different shoes, and less snow! Thanks to my ODC peeps for the advice!
"Roadkill Hill" is the name of this portion of the race. It is well known in the region, and among the marathoners in the upper midwest. The scenery and the run going down is actually quite nice, but coming back up towards the end of the race is. . . well. . . pure hell. Race is April 30th, and no. . . I am not running it! Just taking photos for it! That's about as close as I'll get to running a marathon! ; )

Andrew Pike brought his DIY skills, creating a funky carpet out of door mats and carpet tape, built side tables out of mirrors and table legs and using TRÃ…DIG bowls to create pendent lights.

With the days getting shorter and nighttime temperatures dropping into the 40s it was time to pull out the last of the tomatoes. Not a bag final haul after a lackluster summer - water limitations and erratic temperatures.
