Women actively participate in a sweep campaign before local elections in Bihar state of India. Organized by UN Women’s partner, The Hunger Project, the campaigns motivate other women to fearlessly stand for elections despite the risk of violence or oppositions. These campaigns also educate them about rules and procedures to file candidatures.
