Today's accomplishment - worked out how to pass coordinates back and forth between FileMaker database fields and a web viewer displaying an embedded Google Maps page. A bit of a kludge behind the scenes, but works smoothly in Windows and Mac versions of FileMaker. (Unfortunately, pulling the marker location out of the embedded map does not work in Web Publishing mode - in that case, the web viewer is an iframe and I believe GetLayoutObjectAttribute(webviewer,"source") just reads the iframe src attribute, which javascripts in the embedded page can't change.)

One of the gifts from my brother/hirosan: probably the coolest camera mount I've ever seen. hirosan brought it over from Japan.
The base of it is a rubber cap sized to fit snuggly over the top of any typical plastic bottle. The mount is a ball-head that can be angled 30 degrees in any direction (thus the tilt in the above picture). It's from Yodo Bashi.
That's one of my baby Pepsi bottles from the FileMaker DevCon.
