Working with the WC Pencil theme, I used General's Sketch & Wash pencils here. I like the look of it but was struggling because I feel I have more control over the charcoal and pencil. But I will do more of these studies. 4x6 on rough wc paper.

It's been over 12 years since I last sat in on a figure drawing class, but last Sunday I decided it was about time I spend 3 hours staring at creepy naked people. I definitely forgot how much I enjoy life drawing and hopefully this will be something that I'll continue to do. I've joined a couple meetups with the intention of doing just that, and if everything works out, I'll be posting some of my better( longer ) poses here every once in a while.
Del Ray Artisans offered 24 hours of FREE activities during Spring2ACTion (Wednesday, April 20, 2016) for all ages! The public was invited to meet our diverse artists, enjoy our “Creatures from the Sea” exhibit and participate in free activities—breakfast, artist talks, yoga, life drawing, bedhead photo booth, raffle and more—throughout the day and evening. The events were at Del Ray Artisans gallery (Colasanto Center, 2704 Mount Vernon Ave, Alexandria VA 22301).
