The second sitting was scheduled for tonight but that was cancelled because of snow, which is okay by me, I like the snow and Seattle doesn't get it very often.

Ink and pencil drawing on paper

December 5, 2009. This past weekend Gage Academy (in Seattle WA) held their 10th annual Drawing Jam. Multiple models, many rooms, people of all ages drawing, sculpting, painting, making art. I spent the entire 12 hours in the gesture room. Towards the end of the day, a belly dancing troupe entered. They danced and posed (mostly posed) for just over 2 hours. It was fantastic. So many beautiful shapes and details to try and capture in just 10 minutes, which was the length of all their poses. It was exhausting and exhilarating. I'll post more later... new computer at home, just got the scanner working but still no Photoshop.

These ink on paper pieces were combined with some digital rendering , so the final format for these artwork is the digital print ( maximum size 13 inch by 24 inch)

You can see more of my fashion inspired artwork at my new website www.fashion-accent.com

Drawn in between computer batches and a long gap of nothingness. More of a doodle than anything else nothing serious.
