Ever since I build the Vampire, I've always felt it wasn't quite finished yet. So in an attempt to carve out the best iteration of this model, I've made significant changes to the engine nozzles, giving them a more modern look in favor of the conventional-looking thrusters of the Vampire and making them flow better with the rest of the fuselage. I also went for a more 'sexy' paint job to somewhat enhance the general look of the model.
Another motivator to keep hacking away at this particular model was a remark Nick Trotta made when visiting me, something in the vain of it looking better in real life than it did on the post.
All in all I think I'm quite happy with the result. Expect some more images in the coming days. I also made a completely black version (which looks badass) which I'll post at a later date, along with the usual LDD files.

This Mig-21 is a classic Soviet era supersonic fighter plan. It is outside at the Air Zoo in Kalamazoo; I hope it is maintained, because it is a vintage aircraft from a bygone era.
I like this shot a lot, with the setting sun, blue sky and frigid snow.
I am eager to see how the DSLR version came out!
