This was a shot I took of the Midair Squadron in flight around the Goodwood Revival 2014. They were flying very low and very fast, so I had trouble getting a sharp exposure of them without overexposing the background cloud. I had to do some post production to balance out the brightness of the original capture.

The dual control BAE Systems Hawk T1 has been used by the Red Arrows since 1979, replacing the Folland Gnat.
The aircraft are essentially the same as those flown by Advanced Flying Training students at Royal Air Force Valley, with the exception of smoke generation modifications and a slightly uprated engine which gives a faster response time.
The smoke generation system pumps diesel mixed with appropriately coloured dye into the jet exhaust to produce the colourful vapour trails that the Red Arrows are famous for. These trails are used mainly for flight safety reasons so the pilots can judge wind speed and direction whilst performing their displays. However, the effects of the trails also look good, enhancing the show for the audience on the ground. Each aircraft can carry enough diesel and dye to create five minutes of white smoke, one minute of red and one minute of blue during the display.
Evergreen Wings & Waves Waterpark is an indoor, all-season educational waterpark that includes ten waterslides (ranging from slides for the little ones to slides for daredevils), a wave pool and a hands-on museum dedicated to teaching students about the power of water. Slide out of a real Boeing 747 aircraft sitting on the roof, and enjoy a day of educational fun!
Alright, no flash and a little rescue in PS Elements leaves me with this shot. One previous to the other shot of me in the seat but with better and more realistic color on the control surfaces. It was rather cloudy when we were with the F-4 and the cockpit was somewhat dark. Either way, this is what it looks like so enjoy! I'll try to label some of the different surfaces for you.

A great topside pass by a beautiful MiG-21UM LanceR B at the Open Day held at 'Baza 71 Aeriană General Emanoil Ionescu, Câmpia Turzii'. Note the cool looking pilots with their Elbit Systems DASH (Display And Sight Helmet), one of the first helmet display and queing systems ever implemented by a NATO country (2001).
