There's a spring rush going on!

Bordering on fantasy or a painting, I captured this image a few weeks ago and had fun playing with the sliders during editing :)

I took the time to count each bird and came up with 53 in this wide line of birds. At first I thought they were Cormorants, but now I think they may be Canada geese. Either way, they made for a delightful image.

Enjoy...

Day 353 of 365 (Year Two)

I had to meet with Mike and Steve and a few others tonight to go over a project we are working on. I was going to meet Mike at his place and then we were going to ride down to the meeting together. I got there a bit early, chatted with Mike's wife for a bit and then we headed out. As we were leaving, I just happened to look down and right there on the sidewalk, just laying there, was a twenty. Before Mike and Kelly knew what was happening I swooped down and grabbed it. It definitely wasn't theirs and nobody else was around so in my pocket it went. To tell you the truth, it made the whole trip worth it.

Unemployment barely covers the bills I have to pay, and once those are paid there isn't much left to buy gas, food, etc. While twenty isn't a lot, it is twenty more than I had when I go to their house so a big thank you to whoever dropped it. I really do appreciate the donation.

After a long week, playing with Made with Paper / fiftythree.com

today I was gifted with a few hours off in the middle of my Wednesday - which is usually a 12 hour day. I was able to go out and enjoy a run through the park on an amazingly beautiful day and snap a few photos. It was fantastic and I returned to the office refreshed. It makes me think I should consider working split shifts more often

iPad / Paper FiftyThree

A quick doodle done on the commute home, while on the train.

Okay okay, so I took this a little while ago, but how do you take a photo of an earthquake?

Even though we've had horrid weather outside, my bulbs are popping up nicely.

Sketch with Paper fiftythree on my iPad with a stylus.

these drawings were started out on moleskine, just plain paper and pencil thing. But then, they were finished and editted on an iPad mini. I know some people are concerned about ipad shitty resolution but it is really convenient. I have a digital tablet too, but it's never at hand. And moleskines are only for a fast sketch thing. Anyway these were mostly done on iPad mini with the FiftyThree pen and the apps: Paper by FiftyThree and Adobe Draw

My last drawing. A little Wine ?

53/99 - and they used to make fun of me for having a collection of 53 rubber bands, well who's had the last laugh now then!
