This is in Sequim WA at the annual Lavender festival. The frangrance was intense as was the humming of all the bees!
Flowers from plants were added to vials with 100% Ethanol for future processing. Different flowers stained the Ethanol with different colours.
While in the field, flowers were placed in a ziplock bag. Before they were placed in vials, they were given the smell test and we all gave our opinion as to what they smelled like. Dirty washing, fetid, sweet, burnt electrical cable, etc. Lots of different smells and not all were pleasant.

Several very old refrigerators in a field at my grandparents house. They once held cattle meds; now they are full of scary gigantic syringes and huge mad scientist-esque medicine bottles.
Of all the NFL fields in United States...this is it :)
A view of Lambeau Field, home of Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin.
Scene typical of the commercial flower fields west of the central California city of Lompoc. The landscape takes on brilliant colors from May through August. The peak time is mid June around the time of the annual flower festival.

Or rather the lack of it.
Candid London street shot. Not quite a portrait but the man stands out as the only object in focus in a blurred world.
I feel like that some days.

Back to work, unfortunately stuck in the tea room this weekend. The wind picked up as I was leaving and immediately inspired me for a photo. Had to wait until after dinner before I could go out. As soon as I'd finished I grabbed my camera and tripod and half ran to the fields not far away from my house.
I originally wanted to take photos standing in the middle of the path, then decided to jump around instead. I was on the way to getting a shot I liked, ready to expand it, when I saw some teenage boys walking my way. Quickly grabbed my tripod and moved out of the way, screwing up my position to expand. Wandered a little further up and slightly off the path into one of the corn fields. In retrospect the backdrop wasn't as good as I'd thought but the light was fading so I shot quickly without realising. I like what I'm going for in this photo, but I wish I'd chosen a better backdrop.

This horse is always in the field down the road from our place . I decided to stop and take a picture of it . It didn't seem to mind at all. I think it is very beautiful horse.I love the mane of this horse mostly. Look on large if you have time
The raccoon stood in the field. Photographed next to the Millrace bike path in Eugene, Oregon, close to the clinic location, and nearby the Millrace buildings at the University of Oregon.
I went out a couple of weeks ago with a pumpkin with the intention of doing some Halloween shots for fun. It was blowing a gale up on the hill and I couldn't get the candles to stay alight inside the pumpkin. I tried to do something with a torch inside, but it didn't really work. So a couple of friends with torches ran around the tree in the soggy field.
(I've been away and will catch up)
