after finishing Jeffrey Eugenides' The Virgin Suicides I knew I had to do something about it and find my own interpretation of it. it's a beautifully written novel and if you ever get the chance to read it please do so. in the story all of the five Lisbon sisters kill themselves, the first one is 13-year-old Cecilia Lisbon. after failing to kill herself by cutting her wrists, she jumps off a window of the second floor during a party. landing on a fence post she succeeds in taking her life. throughout the whole story Cecilia's death seems to be present, is popular subject to typical suburban neighborhood gossip and has its effects on the whole Lisbon family and their slow but constant fading from society. I tried to portray Cecilia's soul, unable to let go of her earth life because of the unnaturally strong bond she has to her sisters, exhausted from creeping the fields behind the house day and night, no longer wearing her white wedding dress she would've never taken off when being still alive.
my friend was modeling for me in those huge corn fields 5 minutes from where I live and the farmer was doing fieldwork right next to them, haha. we sneaked in and had to be super careful so that he wouldn't see the corn moving :D we could barely move anyway and it was super dark (hello grain!), I could've never done a selfportrait in there. it was such an adventure though, I loved it! :)

Rules:
A simple idea with many possibilities! For this challenge, include yarn somewhere in your photo. You could use fashion (a sweater, a scarf), feature it in a diorama (room decorations, a blanket on the couch), or show your doll shopping at a craft store or him/her knitting a project. You could even weave the yarn into your doll’s hair for an editorial portrait. Get creative!
Since December may be a hectic month for many of us due to the upcoming holidays, the last day to submit a photo to the group is January 7th!
The most important tip that is not even in the top 4-start with yourself. Stay in the model's place. Let another photographer take your picture. Then it will be easier to understand your model. What she experiences while shooting. No difficulty.

1. Don't relax yourself or someone in the lens with alcohol 🍷 . If you plan to take a photo with a reddened face and blurry eyes, then you can 😅

3. Communicate throughout the entire shoot. Tell interesting and funny stories. Don't let those who came to your shoot get bored.

📌booking the date (as soon as the prepayment is received, the photographer has no right to postpone the scheduled shooting to another date; force majeure circumstances are better prescribed in the contract);

📌guarantee that the client / photographer approaches the shooting responsibly (if something breaks, then the costs will be partially compensated; the deposit is not refunded 7 days before the shooting);

📌a photo shoot at a set price (as a rule, shooting booked in advance is more profitable in price, when, for example, holidays come, the price may increase, so the client has an advantage in this).

Each photographer works according to their own rules. One prescribes the cost, where both the makeup artist and the studio are already included. And the other has a cost of 💵 only for his work.
