Vanaf de grond is het mwoah..... een hoger gelegen talud langs de Hanzehallen van Zutphen. Met enige hoogte krijg je wel wat voor elkaar. Lege parkeerplekken, wat is er toch aan de hand?.....
Verderop wordt gesproeid. Een drietal trekkers met watertank besproeien de atletiekbaan en een handjevol motorrijders is aan het 'lessen'. In ieder geval was het deze ochtend lekker opstarten met de zomerzon op de bol. Temperaturen van rond de 30 graden om 10:30 uur 's ochtends en een verder uitgestorven rangeerterrein. Het is rustig, de treinen rijden de komende anderhalve week tussen Dieren en Zwolle vanwege werkzaamheden. Daardoor werd VIRM(m) ingezet afgewisseld met ICMm en DDZ. De conducteur van VIRMm 8608 roept om dat passagiers station Zutphen naderen en niet moeten vergeten om uit te checken.
