Montreal hosts the world's largest fireworks competition annually at La Ronde, an amusement park on an island in the Saint Lawrence. Tonight we walked up the (otherwise closed) Pont Jacques-Cartier to get a smoke-gets-in-your-eyes panoramic view of Portugal's entry.
This is a messier bunch than the Portugal shots: we watched from rue Notre-Dame below the Pont Jacques-Cartier from where we watched on Wednesday night.
