A young man hurls himself across the Rio Negro gorge in Guyabetal in the central Colombian Andes to fetch a plank of wood stuck over the abyss
So unless that ball's got a quantum flow
The game is done until you let the tennis ball go
So be a good dog and set the ball free
So we can play fetch in reality!...

To err is human, to forgive canine.
I was entertained for an afternoon by this amazing dog and his brother, while they begged for a stick to fetch, competing often to see who could jump the waves fastest. Other times one would stay back and let the other go . I think their master was sending some secret fetching signals. I actually fell in love with these guys, and contemplated for a moment, my life with a dog.
This is the look she gave me when i told her to fetch lol ...

Minor editing to remove one errant drop, shot was cropped and increased saturation. Otherwise, shot is as captured.

A true waterrat he is, it can't be to wet!!!
Flatcoated retrievers are reknown for their waterrat skills, they will even cross a river to get what they search for.
A warm day, so we kept the number of tosses to a minimum.
