fetch photos on Flickr

I was entertained for an afternoon by this amazing dog and his brother, while they begged for a stick to fetch, competing often to see who could jump the waves fastest. Other times one would stay back and let the other go . I think their master was sending some secret fetching signals. I actually fell in love with these guys, and contemplated for a moment, my life with a dog.

I see a boy, a ball and his dog.

Minor editing to remove one errant drop, shot was cropped and increased saturation. Otherwise, shot is as captured.

- SB-800 fired off foam board and through frosted plexi screen from behind.

I went to the Los Banos Wildlife Center today to see what kind of wildlife I could find. My best shots there were of this really well trained and very nice dog. Although he did get a little distracted when my dog Violet happened into his area.

His owner was training him to be a bird dog. He was throwing these floats into the water and having him fetch them. His owner was using hand signals to guide him to the location of the float. I was pretty impressed on how well he was able to find them and bring them back to shore.
