This scene astounds me every year.

The elegant fern unfolding.

It goes from one day looking very 'un alive', no green to be spotted, to suddenly waking up.

Thank you for your visit, most appreciated

Close up of fern leaf. On-camera flash diffused with milk carton.

One from this morning at Ty Canol. It was damp and a little too breezy, but I managed to get this one sharp.

We never actually found the grave we were looking for, the little forest led us astray. But Christinero is a little place just outside of Christiansfeld, Denmark. The name translates into Christine's rest/ peace/ quiet. It was a romantic garden created by a lady called Christine who, after own wishes, was buried there after her death.

A dying fern frond against a background of heather.

Love to find fern's, in this Stage of Growth.

Overlapping fronds of tree ferns (Cyathea sp.) The colour is SOOC.

A change from flower macros.

National Gallery of Australia, Canberra, ACT.

I got caught in a heavy rain shower yesterday so stood under these wonderful tree ferns till it subsided, it didn't though and I got saturated walking back!

Thank you all for the comments 🙏💚 I really appreciate 👍

In Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

The fern tip was reaching out over a drop down to the river. I wish I could have gotten a little closer, but like the bokeh effect.

Twin Creeks trail, far northwest Austin

The dappled sunlight on the fern and moss and rocks was lovely. Sat and enjoyed the babbling of the brook. Taken at Chatfield Hollow State Park in Connecticut.

it was a hard frost a few Sunday's ago when I went early morning volunteering. Everything was laced in ice and looked magical. This delicate fern frond caught my eye as I walked slowly through the frost gripped valley. Fawn is a beautiful instrumental by Tom Waits.

At Dunvegan Gardens, Isle of Skye.

Happy Bokeh Wednesday! Thanks for stopping by and for all of your kind comments, awards and faves -- I appreciate them all.
