Un petit gâteau?
Ceux-ci ont été réalisés par une amie très chère,Tchèque , à l'aide de ses enfants. Dans son pays, la Tchéquie -ou République tchèque- faire ces petits gâteaux est une tradition. On les fait à l'avance, on les conserve dans des boîtes en fer, et on les offre pour Noël.
Moi je me suis contentée de faire une photo d'une petite partie de son cadeau, et...de jouer un peu avec la photo...

La statue en bronze du général Dumas a été réalisée par A. Moncel en 1912, mais elle a été fondue durant l'occupation en 1942 ; le socle a lui disparu dans les années 1980.
Un nouveau monument a été inauguré le 4 avril 2009, réalisé par le plasticien Driss Sans-Arcidet. Il représente des fers d’esclaves brisés, de plus de cinq mètres de haut, pesant plusieurs tonnes.
Le 5 Octobre 2018, chose plutôt rare, la BB 27083 assurait le train habituel d’alumine reliant Marseille-Arenc à Saint Jean de Maurienne. De passage à Saint Chamas, au domaine de Suriane. Ce train étant plus habituellement assuré en BB 26000.

I didn't even notice these guys up in the tree over my head until my friend, Jim pointed them out. They seemed to be enjoying the sunshine.
Reed Canal Park is very large. On one side, there is a lake, with a bridge that goes over it on the south side, and on the other side of the park is a woodsy area that has a playground, walking trails, and loads of trees. That is the squirrels' domain, and they wait patiently for people to bring them treats like peanuts! They are pretty fearless, coming right up to you for handouts, but quickly running away if you don't have any. This tree is right on the border between the woods and the open lake area, and is a very pretty spot in the afternoon when the sun is setting, although the light can be a real challenge because it's pretty blazing.
