Salt and sand makes every fence rust in a nano-second here but at least the colour stands out nicely against the creamy desert tones.

This was shot a few days ago (before our big thaw). This is the same fence I shot several weeks ago with the autumn colors in the comment below.

In the same area of SW Pennsylvania as Kentuck Knob and Ohiopyle SP is this national battlefield that commemorates the first battle of the French & Indian War back in 1754. None of us had visited here before, so we decided to stop here before heading back to Garrett County MD. (It was a Fence Friday field day!)

With the Japanese Hitachi loco hauling the French Alstom loco, 2 competing companies today, it's an interesting view.

I love Zion , and all of Utah . They could put a big fench around Utah and call almost the whole state a National Park. We will return someday soon . This was taken with my good ole Canon Powershot .

Kingfisher, a great surprise to see this little bird just before sunset. I would have loved to have been able to get a little closer for this shot but he spotted me and off he flew! :)

Happy Fence Friday to everyone
It could have been shot a few days ago - mist, frost, and a cold dawn. But it was shot in March! Nothing much has changed, though there's some snow on the ground, and it's deeply frozen now ;o)
