This chapel is located at the base of the Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction, Arizona. It’s such an iconic western scene filled with saguaros and dust. I arrived a bit too late to get inside the chapel area so that’ll be another excuse to visit in the near future.
Lens is not the Laowa… still can’t figure that out in settings…

An old iron fence post still proudly standing after retirement from its original job. I dare say this post could well act as a lightning conductor at some point in its existence.
Its too wet here to get out this morning and take a picture. So this is from last weekend - another frozen fencepost.
Just a shot of a pigeon , but had to post it just for the title ! Eyeing up all the goodies on offer !

[Hand-held in daylight. Processed first in LR then in Affinity using Topaz Detail for sharpening. A fair bit of mangling for colour, clarity and to bring out the texture. Then used the lighting filter to focus attention to the top right as a vignette wouldn't work.]
Not sure what the purpose is of the little caps on the fenceposts but I thought it looked rather interesting. Happy Fence Friday!
Went out today to see if my little friend was out and about....sure enough as I cruised by he popped up from the grass to take a look at me. Even though I’ve got many shots, he’s an irresistible photo target. This photo shows how truly small he really is, and he keeps a wary eye out for other larger predators.
