The Tyger by William Blake
Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
In what distant deeps or skies,
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand, dare seize the fire?
And what shoulder, & what art,
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand? & what dread feet?
What the hammer? what the chain,
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp,
Dare its deadly terrors clasp!
When the stars threw down their spears
And water'd heaven with their tears:
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the Lamb make thee?
Tyger Tyger burning bright,
In the forests of the night:
What immortal hand or eye,
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
Ok, folks, time to introduce Tiny!... Tiny is a tiger stripped ordinary house cat that was not much older than a week or two when my mother found her huddled under a parked car, shivering of brisk cold, hunger and fear on an icy, frozen night around Christmas a couple of years ago. She was so little that my mother easily fitted her in a glove and tucked her in the hand bag to try to protect her from the freezing wind and make her a bit warmer on their way home...Today, a few years later, Tiny has grown up to be an old wise cat...but... she never meows...she has never learned how to because, according to my mother's explanation, she has never known any other mother than mine...:)
For those who have inquired, this formal winter portrait will confirm that Star is doing fine, truly appreciates your abiding interest, and wants you to know that, as with many of you, she is patiently (for a cat) awaiting the first sign of spring... due to arrive in about three increasingly longer months.

Bailey is doing well. Kidney not 100% but he is still happy. He enjoys being loved and devours his food.
One of the many wild or semi wild cats to be seen in Iran. This was in Tabriz in the north west of the country.
This started out to be a completely different picture of Ozzie sitting on the table, but as soon as I settled myself with the camera to take the shot he decided to come toward me.
They are still having problems. Millie may have been upset because Gracie got in the box. Taken by Edgar.
