The deacon in this shot - taken at a service in Baghdad days before Easter this year β was assigned a job similar to that of a conductor orchestrating the performance of a number of deacons in a second row (unseen in this shot)β¦while deacons in the first row were following the one in front of the mic, this guy was flipping through his bookβ¦ naming it βlost in the middle of a serviceβ would be more powerful but just to be honest with you guys I canβt recall the exact moment and I kept asking myself while processing the photo βWas he catching up or just got lost in the middle of the service?β
I went to Gastown in participation of a photo walk event yesterday evening.
A lot of photography enthusiasts showed up and the group roamed around the Gastown streets.
It was raining and rain drops kept falling on to my face. Recently I did not get any inspiration for pictures. I was feeling a little lost.
I felt more like the little bulb trying hard to shine its own light among all the sparkling neon signs and street lights.
This is more a picture as my record that I did join the event. :o(

This image is from last spring. I've been feeling a little out of touch with taking pictures as of late... the cold winter weather hasn't exactly helped... The irony is i bought a new camera during Xmas and all it's been doing is sit on my desk catching some winter rust and dust :) ... I hope all's well with you all and to catch up with everyone soon...
