Submitted for Macro Mondays "Drips, Drops and Splashes" theme. This droplet sits on a highly bokeh'd marigold flower. Other than a slight crop, nothing else has been adjusted. HMM!
For the first time since joining Macro Mondays I must use a photo that's a couple of weeks old. I'm in Sydney at the moment and was out taking photos at Vivid Sydney on Friday night and the tripod was kicked over by one of the thousands of visitors to the city. Needless to say, camera had to be taken to the doctor. I should get it back tomorrow if it's an easy fix, but things weren't quite right after the fall. At least my precious macro lens wasn't in use at the time. I hadn't taken my photo for MM yet as I usually start thinking about that on the weekend. As it happens, I'd been taking droplet photos a couple of weeks ago so I have something to use today.

Deuxième sortie pour tenter de trouver la Nyctale de Tengmalm. Dans le territoire qu'occupait cette dernière, nous avons retrouvé hier une Petite nyctale. Première image d'une série à venir. Le début de la saison nous offre de multiples occasions pour observer cette magnifique petite chouette! Un gros merci à Brigitte Plouffe pour le suivi des découvertes à Yamachiche.
