My eldest daughter feeds one of our local foxes. Not a good photo but the idea was to show the wonderful accessibility of our wildlife.
Next project - the same shot but with our badgers...
My little cousin feeding the pigeons near the snack bar at our hotel on Waikiki Beach. She's feeding them leftover cheese from her Nachos!
We found a nest of baby birds in the bush in front of our house. Cuuuuute! They're right at the girls' eye level, so we check on them (carefully, respectfully, from a distance) every time we go outside.

The swans and cygnets have left Kew Pond. Apparently mum and dad took all five cygnets on a walk across the busy south circular road, and into the grounds of Kew Gardens. Shame I missed that photo op.
However they have been replaced on the pond by five coot chicks
It was interesting to watch the chicks adopt this deferent pose to attract feeding from the parents.
Also, those parents are going to be knackered unless they lighten up a bit. Any other duck at comes within 20 metres of the chicks is chased away with much aggression. As this is a very popular piece of water, they have their work cut out.

Feeding the buffalo is quite dangerous, but at the same time fascinating, especially when they start to approach raising dust wherever they go. This photo was taken during a stay at a farm in South Africa where wild animals are preserved in their natural habitat.

Brighton's poor hungry seagulls getting a welcome feed...
You can tell that these poor fellas are malnourished, as they are only as big as dogs. A fully grown Brighton seagull is the size of a small car.
