During my morning run, I watched a sparrow become increasingly frustrated by its uncooperative breakfast.

The scene reminded me of the challenge of feedback loops in systems, as discussed by Donella Meadows in Thinking in Systems.

The difficulty of feedback lags and subsequent overshoot adjustments was beautifully demonstrated in this graceful dance. The pattern went on for so long that they flew out of my field of vision.

Boards are glued down. Time to tackle all of the turn-ins.

Paper wraps were made to include my barcode on the book for distribution. I designed them to coordinate with the book design, provide the buyer with a brief overview of the project and the materials used, and have a secondary purpose as a bookmark.

5-6 colors went into this warm gray, believe it or not.

Feedback loop: A solitary chair in an art gallery.

It took slightly more than three entire days to sew up all the text blocks.

Spines are glued up, reinforced, and lined with headbands all attached!

Covers all printed. Only a few hundred steps left to go...ha!
