Over looking the well aged Acapulco Bay on a sunny day from a formerly popular resort used by the Hollywood Pops back in the 1950s.

Water pump; ink; glass tank; acrylic tubing; plastic; brass

Ink pumps through a tube system, falls from the ceiling into hanging plastic bags, and eventually ends up back in the main glass reservoir, where the cycle repeats. This circulation system is both inefficient and difficult to track. Ink seeps onto the floor as the flexible tubes move, splashes create patterns on the floor boards, the bags swell and shift in height with liquid weight, and the velocity of the liquid causes backups in certain areas that then relieves itself through surges of movement at irregular intervals.

Feedback from my last wedding. Not bad after a 4.5 yr break...Life in the old dog yet ;-)

because i bought a ticket to Camera Obscura thru their system, Live Nation sent me this email asking me to take a survey and rate my overall satisfaction from transaction to leaving the venue. it got to be amusing when i was asked questions about my music tastes and whether i would go see the artists that they were suggesting. for the record, i would consider going to see Depeche Mode in a small setting and if it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. otherwise, i'm a casual fan and have already seen them at coachella, so no burning desire, really. it just cracked me up that i answered no to all of these bands, hence the screenshot.

Unit 5 - Developing a Portfolio

Showing my first draft of my portfolio to an artist from UAL when they came to the school. Useful to experience what it would be like to be interviewed on my portfolio and having to talk about it. Also useful to get feedback from someone who's seeing my art for the first time.

Main points i will take forward into my next draft:

-consider the order of the art work and show progression through out the portfolio

-make sure to keep all work the same orientation

-reduce the amount of pages

negative feedback n. 1. A type of feedback in which an increase in output causes a decrease in input. 2. Critical or discouraging reactions.

(Don't read into this picture too much. The word was totally random. Honest.)
