A climate feedback loop is a set of processes in the climate system where an initial change triggers effects that either reinforce or reduce that change. The animation illustrates four reinforcing feedback loops. The first half of the animation shows how an initial warming (e.g., due to human-caused emissions) leads to further warming as a result of these feedbacks. The second half shows how an initial cooling leads to further cooling.
This is a screenshot of one of my homescreens, on it are two alarm widgets. Right now, one of them is set to go off, the other isn't. The visual feedback of the green alarm symbol shows which alarm is active. When a user presses the symbol it will turn on or off and light up accordingly, quickly showing the user that their action was registered by the phone.
