... up. Sick of being sick - was desperate to get out the house but the short walk to this cafe wiped me out. And the cake didn't even revive me, looked better than it tasted... although that could just be my illness-addled taste buds talking.
This was taken on the chain ferry back to Sandbanks after a three and a half hour ride. James was tired and as usual not in the mood to have his picture taken
This is one of my favorite images. I grabbed the fantastic burial at sea photo of my friend delivering the ashes of our fallen buddy into the ocean on Maui. I photoshop'ed out the water and put in two images from the Internet of the Earth and Moon, and the star field. What I like is that only the woman's toe on the left remains touching the "earth." My timing was excellent, capturing the decisive moment!

I feel like life these days is full of steps forward followed by an equal number if not more steps backward. That is not the direction life is supposed to move. I'm often at a loss of how I got to the place I am in.
School is going well, surprisingly I am doing well in other facets of my life, but there are some major roadblocks. It will get better, and eventually the steps backward will no longer outnumber those taken forward.
