The accident!!!
Exposed at the wrong speed, light leaks because of loading problems when developing, but still kind cool!!!

Fed 3 with Jupiter 3
The J3 had stiffy focusing, I could fix it with disassembly only of the distance setting ring. Now it focuses wonderfully soft ... and I'm so happy with it :)

The early Leica cameras, and the other Leica inspired cameras like Canon III, FEDs and Zorkis, and almost any camera which winding also causes the film speed selector turning, always cock the shutter before changing film speeds.
FED-3 was offered many body and lens variations during its long producing time.
"Industar-61 L/D: The "L" stands for lanthane, glass coating of the lens. Lanthane is apparent a radioactive element, but its level is very low and harmless for humans, when measured with a radiation meter, the actual radiation given off by these lens is less than the background radiation. The "D" stands for "dalnomernaya", which means "rangefinder type".

This time with a FED3, and Industar-61 L/D 55/2.8, neither of which were issue free. The camera drags the shutter every once in a while, and the lens is actually a post-Soviet build from 1992, thus it shows the utter lack of quality from that time.

An ukrainian FED3 in green, released in 1962-1964. Like the FED2s, it still uses Leica mount lenses, but the FED2 is actually considered as the better camera, even being the older model. The FED3 has more ( but actually useless ) shutter speeds available BUT the rangefinder is not as precise as the one of the FED2.
