A close look at some lovely snowdrops which never fail to bloom in our garden in early spring. Snowdrops symbolise sympathy and consolation. Because it's the first flower to bloom at the end of winter and the beginning of spring, it also symbolises hope.

This is dedicated to all those who are suffering in any way, there are so many people who really, really need help and hope now, for so many reasons. We have only to listen or read the news, so soon to be replaced by more 'news'. I've attempted many different versions of this image, but this is the one I like the best - I hope you do too ! I really appreciate your views and comments, and of course your faves. Thank you all for looking !

The days were colder and shorter when I took this on February 6th. The few people who were walking in the park had gone home and even the last birds are flying somewhere else to roost.

I hope you like this music, I've always loved this particular recording of this song. Please right click the link and open in a separate tab to listen and watch. Thanks !

The second camellia bush to start blooming in our garden, this one is my favourite. Have a lovely Thursday everyone!

Taken on a clump of primroses in our garden. Very lethargic but it flew away so hopefully it`s ok.

Hellebore in our garden. I have had this one for a few years now & it never disappoints. Have a lovely Thursday everyone!

The first camellia to bloom in our garden this year, a bit battered by the weather but still beautiful. Have a lovely Thursday every one!

I spotted this beautiful Calico cat in a window nearby. Didn`t notice the sign until I uploaded it & altered it to suit the title. Taken through glass.

I met this little Robin Thursday eve while I walked around town taking photos of the falling snow. We don't get much snow so it's a bit of a novelty. This little one followed me for a while probably looking for something to eat or maybe just to say hello.

Sunday evening after all the snow was washed away we took a walk around the quay area of Westport. I've snapped this shot several times but I don't think I've posted one on Flickr so here goes.

The apple is often a symbol of knowledge and education.

The february rainfalls made the waters of the Rotmain swell and gave a dramatic scenery for the heron's flight.

I took a walk around a local spot called 'The Point' this evening. Even though we are in level 5 (highest) restrictions there were quite a few people around. I got a few nice images, this being one of the nice ones just after sunset.
