The theme for today's Macro Monday is vibrant minimalism, and as it's February, I had to combine it with some tiny, colourful rover. This one is inspired by gid617's Tiny Trailblazers.

These Vidiyo pods are a pain in the lower backside because you can't do much with it. In an area of 8x8 it actually has 12 studs - on the backside.
For this rover I tried to hide that it's only fixed in the back and pulled the rubber tracks right up to the front. Unfortunately it's too big to fit in a pocket, so here's just a lame shot on the balcony.

So happy that I got the figures from the new CMF series 24 just in time, to give Lil Benny a Microver.

I ❤️ Febrovery, such a great month.

Well, not exactly, but inspired by. Or possibly the Russian Marsokhod (with those lovely bevelled gear wheels). I had to order some extra white cones as there's four on each axle. And I thought it looked better out in the dirt than on the desk, it shows of the rambling nature of the design, and it's fun to take a rover out in the garden occasionally.
I came across a picture of this thingy in the depth of the internet and thought, it would make for a perfect Febrover.
Being so tiny there's no slack at all in the tracks. The wheels do turn, but the crawler doesn't roll.

The simple sample sucker simply sucked samples into its elephantine belly. Occasionally, other things would end up in there too!
This rover was totally inspired by Huw Gwilliam's roller-skating robo-elephant, which in turn came from his original Lego design.
These seemingly autonomous machines emerged from the far side of the planet. Nobody ever discovered exactly where they came from or who created them.

I'm always impressed by Shannon Sproule's ability to build sci-fi models in just one colour. I thought I'd give it a go for Febrovery!
This vehicle really rolls. There's a short video of it in action on Instagram, plus a couple more photos.
The potential for battle is ever present in the galaxy! Battle could erupt anywhere at anytime! A Zorg trooper must be prepared! Zorg Battle Rovers are ready to devour the enemy! All hail ZORG!
This one's very flimsy; I was hoping the clips would grip the black rein piece tightly but they swivel around easily.
How to build a Febrover? Easy as cake - take your favourite vehicle and slap some balloon tyres on. Done.
This one is best for going uphill because of stupi^W supreme design. Yes, definitely supreme!

Fuel? Who needs fuel when you have a glowing stuff reactor on your back? That red one? No, that doesn't mean anything. Trust me, I'm an engineer!

More or less the same rover as his small variant, with only a few changes. I don't have four big flowers, so his new wheels are blue.

"Why stop at silly, when you can go full bonkers?"^
I know what you're thinking: "Who on Jupiter designed this?!" but look at the supsension. Just look at it. Travelling over bumps? Whazat - bumps? This is like flying, slightly rocking in a cradle.
Toy Project Day 2760
This tiny rover is built around the idea, if it's possible to stick the wheels directly to the bracket thingy (bricklink is down for maintenance, so I cannot look the part number up) - yes, it works with a short pin-with-stud.
The rest is just "keep it small" and the speed effect is simple rain.

Comically referred to by moonbase denizens as the "Wheelly-Go-Round", the G00-DG-R33F Recon Rover was not for the faint of heart and required nimble coordination between co-riders....
Rover 28 (really though, it is build 12)
Benny, how is this a rover? It has no steering wheel?
Modern technic, this is telepathetic!
Yes to pathetic. It doesn't even have a motor.
Yeah, but downhill it's really fast! And ecofriendly!

This not-really-a-rover was intended to be my only contribution for Febrovery, teling you that I'm strung out and cannot do another month, because I ran out of ideas.
But then I read this article by Andreas Lenander and started building before I even finished reading. It's about having fun, and nothing else.
Won't promise that I'll manage to go all 28 days, but I already have some in my queue.

This rover started with those two red Technic bent link pieces. I wanted a really open rover, just bare bones. It's definitely not playable; the wheels don't turn much and the whole right side pops off really easily. I added the extra wheels at the back as I didn't like the proportions with just four.

C is for Creature
Now here is something new:
As you rover around
You're bound
To meet an alien or two!
Some are cute, some are slimy
With many eyes or just the one.
Know this for sure,
New friends galore
Make roving so much fun!

Space Sharks Survival Capsule Rover
W is for Water
As you all may know,
Oceanus (home of the Space Sharks)
Was once covered in H2O.
Then along cam human invaders
Who took all the water away
They left Oceanus a desert
Now the Sharks in their rovers must stay!

Well, it is that time of year again! I can't wait to see what Rovery goodness everyone has in store. I hope you will once again come along with me as I embark on another Febrovery journey. I'm doing something a little different this year, and I hope it doesn't disappoint. So let's get rovin'...
Even Santa Claus, the... uhm... Christmas Man wanted to join the rover fun

I built this little 4x4 to play with the idea of making a vehicle whose body was mainly made from bricks and slopes.
There are some more images on Instagram, including one of the underneath. It shows how I bound the layers of bricks together to make it playable.
Nicknamed "Little Hare" due to it's rabbit-like features and small size, this rover was designed to be quick over most types of terrain.
I ♥️ Febrovery!
Perhaps from the 1987 branch of Classic Space with blue, white and trans-blue livery. They can analyse rock samples on-the-go and beam the data back to base. Or something.
a little autonomous drone that travels to inhospitable planets. it launches terraforming nodes into the air to create new liveable worlds.
built for febrovery 2023!
It looks more like spaceship than a rover, kinda like Space Eagle One, but on wheels instead of thrusters. If it bring to your mind someone's other MOC - let me know, because I have a sense of deja vu, but I can't remember model that I might have copied.
Tired of back flipping your buggy on steep Moon crater walls? Fed up with flopping into canals on Mars? Worried about a sudden gravity reversal whilst exploring Venusian lava tubes?
Simply fit your rover's chassis to Llwyngwril Systems' safety frame and forget your space-driving worries.
(Angry aliens from Pluto pushing you over sideways is NOT covered by any warrantees with this device.)
