On the second day after Go-Ahead London Central took over from Arriva London North on the 269 we see E110 LX09 FBA leaving Royal Oak Road, Bexleyheath. Sunday 19th January 2025. DSCN61265.

Routes 99, 269 and 401 were awarded to BX from yesterday and about forty extra buses were required. An assorted number of Es, WVNs and WVLs were drafted in with operations on the 51 transferred to Morden Wharf (MG) on Saturday 11th January to make room for these. E110 came to BX from Docklands Buses at Silvertown (SI) and last worked there on 13th January, route 473. It is also the lowest numbered E in everyday TfL service.

**RARE WORKING**

Go Ahead London E110 LX09FBA Route 473

...because the buses had to be in that order.

Most of the range of the possible buses on the Fastrack services can be found where they congregate the most in Bluewater, as all services pass through or terminate at Bluewater.

The temporary Route F, which replaces the B whilst Galley Hill Road is rebuilt. In 2023, subsidence caused the Swanscombe Quarry to partially collapse, which included Galley Hill Road. This diverted buses away from the area, causing the B to initially operate as a loop via Ingress Park, before going onto the A2 to Ebbsfleet International. After two years of extended journey times looping around Ingress Park, logic prevailed and a shuttle service started for the area, lettered F. This is represented by SEN61, drafted in as one of the many buses disposed of by Sullivan Buses after they decided that TfL operation was no longer feasible.

Adjacent, is MEC50 on Fastrack B, surplus after the 108 was converted to electric buses off the 507/521 in January 2025. The 507/521 ironically were where these Citaros started life.

Intended to replace the cascaded buses, but beset with infrastructure related issues, the new order for the Fastrack services is represented with IE24, seen on Fastrack A, complete with the new branding in full vigour...considering the new branding is some grey vinyl on top of the base red livery, at least it is a passenger experience upgrade from the motley collection of buses currently scattered into the Go-Ahead Fastrack operation. High backed seats, information screens, a table with not enough legroom in the rear, and charging in the form of low voltage USB-A & USB-C standards are all features which should be appreciated by customers.
