Bien tout le monde s'en doutait, on ne retouche pas un diorama déchiré ! J'ai essayé au mieux avec juste du vernis acrylique pour souder les deux parties.(un coup le papier se soude en dessous, un coup en dessus...) Je passerai une légère couche de ce vernis sur l'ensemble si celui-ci jaunissait. Tous les vernis jaunissent !
Impossible en étant plus dans le milieu de l’impression de trouver ce papier fin et translucide correspondant. Rien dans ma « restauration » à part le vernis, n'est irrémédiable, je tiens aussi à conserver ce filigrane sur ce diorama. On notera la légère différence de rendue couleur entre les deux exemples présentés...
Well everyone knew it, you don’t touch up a torn diorama! I tried at best with just acrylic varnish to solder the two parts.(one blow the paper solders underneath, one blow above...) I will pass a light coat of this varnish on the whole if it yellowed. All varnishes yellowing!
Impossible being more in the middle of printing to find this thin and translucent paper matching. Nothing in my «restoration» except the varnish, is irremediable, I also want to keep this watermark on this diorama.Note the slight difference in color rendering between the two examples presented...
