Fault lines at Cape Kidnappers are very easy to spot. Sometimes they shifted the cliffs for 10 meters. The Cape is still tilting.
Looking down on a San Andreas Fault zone in the Los Padres National Forest somewhere between Frazier Park and Cuyama, and south of the Carrizo Plain. The hills are so eroded because the fault is always moving and cracking the rock.

Bwa Maen (literally the 'stone arch') is an extraordinary tight folded block of Carboniferous Limestone.

There's an attractive crack in this long, low-angle corner system. But rockfall might be an issue...
