I often take my camera with me into public washrooms - you never know what you might see. Here, I only had my long lens with me, but I liked the repetition of the faucets and soap dispensers, and I was able to stand back far enough to capture them. Luckily, I was in there alone :)

i see these outdoor facets all the time while walking in taiwan. either at a business or home...there they are, outside.

hot day working outside so I turned on the outside water faucet on my house and took a long sip. sure enough seconds later the faucet started to light up in a rainbow of colors. that's when i realized that our water quality was the best that water could be in a world of plastic and oil.
For Macro Mondays "Drips, drops and splashes" theme. Taken with an off camera flash to stop the motion. This sort of thing is all about timing and it isn't easy to get it right. Probably took 700 shots and only about 20 were anywhere near interesting.

I had taken a few of him on the Faucet but this one, with his head turned and the grass stem just works best.
In search for shiny objects in my house I have found the tap, or faucet how you Americans name it, and when I saw myself through the lens, I thought..well let's take a selfie again. Have a wonderful day!

Photography’s new conscience
I adjusted the water flow to give a slow drip and set manual focus on a small aperture. I balanced the window light with a ring light and put a gold reflector behind the faucet stem. The green colour came from an avocado ornament placed on the window ledge.
