Die letzten 14 Tage waren Kohlmeisen mit ihren Jungen hier unterwegs um ihnen die Umgebung zu zeigen und sie daran zu gewöhnen, dass sie von nun an (gefälligst) selber für ihr Futter zu sorgen haben. Das funktioniert ganz gut. Als ich dieses Bild gemacht habe wurden die Eltern nur noch von drei jungen bettelnden Meisen verfolgt. Ich hoffe, dass die anderen sich inzwischen erfolgreich selbständig gemacht haben und nicht etwa selbst gefressen wurden.
Um das Bild besonders detailreich sehen zu können, drückt die Tasten l (kleines L) und F11. Beim vergrößern nur durch Anklicken gehen euch viele Details verloren.
For the last fourteen days, great tits have been out and about here with their young to show them the surroundings and to get them used to the fact that from now on they have to take care of their own food eventually. That works quite well. When I took this picture, the parents were only followed by three young begging tits. I hope that the others have since become independent and have not been eaten themselves.

Woolwich Wimpy bar seen re opened now after a recent refurbishment, I will have to sample a nice Wimpy hamburger here soon, did not have the time today. 06/04/12.

I watched one of those shows on Food Network that is basically a long advertisement. They showed how they tumbled the chicken in the spice mixture at Popeye's, then let it sit for 12 hours before frying it. They said the biscuits were so popular that they changed the restaurant chain's name to reflect that.
So the next day there I was at Popeye's Chicken & Biscuits. It's never as good as they make it sound (especially that salty biscuit).
Closed for lunch for the last time ! The Wimpy bar in Woolwich closed late last year, this shot taken yesterday (17/02/12) shows the more recent frontage has been removed to reveal the old Wimpy facia probably from the 1970's.
Glad to say that the Wimpy bar in Woolwich is not closed down as previously said by myself a couple of months ago, it has just been refurbished and looks as if it may be due to reopen very soon.

This is my first gacha. When I was invited I decided i'd have to make something where every purchase is worth it, no junk items to dillute the chances of winning something good. So I made it all junk (food). Each purchase gets you a food or drink, and a bag or tray containing the item. There are no rares. The fatpack is purchasable at the event too for as cheap as i'm allowed to set it.
