Fast Five’ has turbocharged to No.1 spot at the film’s U.S. opening over the weekend at $83.6 million, making it the biggest film opening in April and breaking records for box office hits this year.
The fifth series of ‘Fast & Furious’ franchise - - featuring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and Dwayne Johnson - - has also set the record for the biggest opening in April, outpacing even its fourth sequel ‘Fast & Furious’ released over a year ago. The fourth franchise had reportedly raked in $12.6 million shy of its opening at only $71 million in April 2009, according to the estimates made by the film distributor Universal Pictures.

Aujourd’hui, comme toutes les fins de mois je vous propose le calendrier des sorties du mois prochain. Après un mois d’avril radin en blockbuster, ce mois de mai corrige le tire avec les très attendu Fast & Furious 5 et Pirates des caraïbes 4. Peut être pas aussi attendu Very bad trip 2 devrait tout de même bien nous faire rire surtout s’il reste aussi barré que le premier.
Côté jeu vidéo, tandis que les fans de la petite brique ce jetterons sur Lego: pirates des caraïbes, les adeptes de fps n’auront que Brink a se mettre sous la dent. Et pour finir, à part la nouvelle IP que sera L.A.noire ont aura le droit aux incontournables suite de The Witcher 2, Fear 3, fable 3 (pour les PCistes) et Dirt 3, tout un programme!

Pour fêter le succès bien mérité en salle de Fast and Furious 5, Universal passe la cinquième en nous proposant pas moins de trois steelbook différent. On commence avec le très joli steelbook allemand en édition limitée qui sera disponible dès le 1er septembre sur amazon.de pour environ 25€. Part contre pour le moment on a aucune info quand a une éventuelle piste audio française. On poursuit avec le magnifique steelbook anglais lui aussi en édition limitée qui sera disponible qu’a partir du 5 septembre sur amazon.co.uk pour un peu moins de 20€. Et même si encore une fois on a pas d’info sur les pistes audio on peut néanmoins s’attendre à avoir une VF comme c’était le cas pour le blu-ray anglais de fast and furious 4. On termine notre petit tour des steelbook avec l’édition française qui sera quand à elle disponible seulement fin septembre sur Amazon.fr, mais proposera l’intégrale de la série (bien que le 6ème épisode a déjà été confirmé) dans un boitier steelbook pour moins de 40€. Personnellement j’ai un petit faible pour l’édition anglaise, au milieu sur la photo, en plus c’est la moins chère.
