Tried a bit of a different shape and she ended up looking like Vi's younger (and slightly brattier) sister. Oh well, you won't see me complaining. 😉

Without tripod - I didn't expect to take this picture when I left with the camera :)

Most of you guys probably don't know, photography is not my first passion.

Driving is [well, more like street-racing :p] I have been driving on the streets for over thirteen years now, and I'm still loving it! :D

So, this shot goes to all the crazy car lovers like me out there in flickr [Let me know if you are one (=]

This is Sam riding his 330 horses in Times Square while I was squeezing myself in the backseat with tripod and all trying to capture the lighting effect. It didn't quite come out the way I wanted it to be. Apparently, New York's streets are too bumpy for a shot like this. Maybe I'll try this again in a convertible sometimes next summer on I-95 in south Florida ;)

Must view large on black (=

This is a layered photo of one of the Hummingbirds on the Bee Balm in my garden next to the house.

Handheld rapid fire shots caught this bird moving around the flowers.

In addition to my photography obsession, I spend a lot of extra time writing. I've just launched a new website dedicated to ironic short stories and plan to post a new one each week. This week's story is about a new stunt driver who learns that some of the most basic driving skills can be the most challenging. This picture is a fuel cap for a 1970 Dodge Charger used in filming The Fast and the Furious.

If you have ten minutes to spare, please head over to 500ironicstories.com and give me a read.

Saturday night cruising in Paprihaven.

Though all makes and models, and unidentifiables, are welcome in the Saturday night auto-culture of Market Street, old American muscle remains a favorite.

Dominic Toretto's 1968 Dodge Charger waits for fuel alongside his 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS.

Dominic's sister Mia is driving the Chevy. Currently both Torettos are in the food mart getting essentials such as Slim Jims, Ring Dings and Mountain Dew.

Tow Dodge Chargers of different design. The 8-wide on the left is an official Speed Champions set, the 7-wide on the right was designed in 6-wide by Alek Bubnov, and upscaled to 7-wide by me.

Toy Project Day 2582

Irish Ferries "Dublin Swift " on its afternoon from Dublin to Holyhead, a swift 135 minutes from end to end.

I took some rapid fire shots and the humming bird ... if all the shots were layered would have shown the bird hovering over mostly one spot.

I was able to find 3 shots to layer together for this.

Some new parts from the Dodge Charger kit.

1x1 x2/3 double plates with hollow stud.

And a 1x5 plate. I've already seen them in stud.io and was a wee bit confused, because I'd never expected Lego to add useful parts to their portfolio.

In the background the useless rim&tyre combination wheels, worst choice ever for a muscle car.

Toy Project Day 2565

...Mother Nature gave us a storm this weekend, and a spectacular sunset and twilight.

Plus pretty cold weather.

Still wearing surfshorts though, because I´m stubborn.

Not bad for an official Speed Champions model.

As I said yestwerday, found the brand new kit for 20€ instead of 25€ at my favourite grocery store.

This thingy has rollerskates as handles - a technique we AFOLs already have been using for some years, now found its way into an official set.

I've used the 4x8 curved slope in the rear for Zombieman's Hoovercar in 2017. Nice idea, bad execution - that snotted lower part has no real connection to the slope, there's always a gap.

I've always complained about too many stickers on SC sets - this one comes with just five. Some ridiculous printed parts, but stickers for the number plate and the 'Charger' logo *sigh*

This car comes with the new rim&tyre in one piece wheels - worst choice ever for a 60s muscle car.

But nice overall.

"Whether you're a quarter mile away, or halfway across the world...You will always be with me. And you will always be my brother."

So here's the third and final scene I made for the ending of Fast And Furious 7! This is at the very, very end of the movie after Brian parts ways with Dom, riding into the sunset.

I'm sorry if you guys think I'm milking Paul Walker's death, but I absolutely loved that final scene of the movie and also wanted to make as many creations as I could with my custom Toyota Supra. Maybe it just would've been better if I uploaded all three of these scenes in one week, instead of them all being in three different weeks. But hey, I did the best I could. Anyway, I worked fairly hard on all three of these scenes, and I hope you all enjoyed them!

So...For one last time...RIP Paul Walker.

I wanted to build another Fast & Furious car and even though it only appears briefly in the movie, Brian's Ford Escort Mk1 is an iconic part of the franchise.

I saw Fast And Furious 7 on Tuesday and it was a great movie! They did an excellent job giving Paul Walker a tribute. That end scene was amazing, and it made me want to cry. It was well done in so many ways. Especially from a filmmaking perspective. Dom and Brian's cars parting ways, AHHH! So good. I loved that scene so much, that I decided to build the car Brian used. A Toyota Supra. Now, I haven't really ever made a Lego car before, so this was new to me. I am very proud of how it turned out, though! I made this scene from the end of the movie, and I will be posting two more pictures related to the ending. This is just the first. This scene is right after Dom left and Brian is about to go after him in his car. As you can see, I have all of the characters down at the beach, and I setup Paul Walker standing by his car. I also painted the flesh color on his arms and legs and painted on his flip-flops. I wanted it to be fairly accurate to the movie.

Paul Walker was a great guy and he had a good heart. He was the definition of chill, and he always cared about others. He honestly left this world too soon. I wanted to make this, not only because I loved this scene, but also because I never really did a tribute for Paul after he passed away. RIP Paul. #ForPaul

Everything said, I hope you all enjoy this. And remember, I'll be posting two more pictures related to this scene later on next week. Enjoy!

Here's my second Paul Walker tribute/Fast And Furious 7 picture. There will be one more, so stay tuned! This is from the very last scene of the movie when Brian catches up to Dom after he left without saying goodbye. This leads to them driving side-by-side for the very last time, before going their separate ways. This picture was kinda hard to take due to the lighting, but I think it turned out pretty good! Let me know what you think, and remember. There's one more Fast and Furious 7 related picture coming your way soon. :)

In memory of PAUL WALKER died at age 40 in a car crash. He was a passenger in a friend's Porsche Carrera GT, when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a tree at 110 mph. The car instantly exploded. The speed limit there is 45 mph!!!

Far from perfect, but hey, I built this in one day.

A couple years ago I started watching the Fast and Furious movies and immediately fell in love. Since then I always thought of building something related to the theme, but due to my lack of experience in building Lego sports cars it took me some time until I settled on this vehicle.

Sometimes, there is a need to drive fast.

Not for pleasure exactly this time, but still, somehow, enjoyable.
