Sassolungo, le Cinque Dita.
Narra una leggenda che un tempo la Val di Fassa fosse abitata da una comunità di giganti che vivevano in buona armonia. Ma tra di loro crebbe un tale di nome Sassolungo che era un vero spirito cattivo. All’apparenza buono, ma dedito a compiere pessime gesta e negare di averle compiute incolpando altri. Negava anche difronte all’evidenza dei fatti. Allora il capo dei giganti lo toccò con la bacchetta magica e lo fece sprofondare nella terra. Sprofondò fino a quando resto fuori una mano, le Cinque dita, appunto.

Campitello di Fassa is a beautiful village in Trentino Alto Adige surrounded by greenery at the foot of the Sassolungo.
Saw this plate while on a stroll through Vienna's Grinzing village. Grinzing is part of the 19th disctrict (Döbling) in Vienna and famous for its wine (not beer;). It is an old Viennese wine town with countless traditional taverns called "Heuriger", where owners sell their own produce. Took the image with one of my favourite lenses, Sigma's awesome 1.4 Nifty Fifty.

Mais un cycliste qui me salue en sachant pertinemment que j'ai dégainé mon appareil, juste pour le plaisir de me saluer...!
