The [Kres] Critter Clocks - Cow from Krescendo is incredibly charming! This item has a universal appeal and can seamlessly blend into various settings. It has numerous colors and is available featuring different animal variations at the main store.
Another noteworthy item is the [IK] Grandma Kitchen Plate Rack, which exudes such charm that I believe it would effortlessly complement any kitchen! It is available at the [InsurreKtion] Main store which you can find here: maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Tikka/192/32/1852

.... run by the Lewin Family of Wading River, I spent the day picking peaches, eggplants, tomatoes, and peppers. I ate roasted corn on the cob, took lots of photos, and had a wonderful day, even if I did slide into a huge mud puddle. Fortunatley, I'm the photog so this mishap was not caught on film!
Macro Mondays ~ Picnic
I was sitting down to dinner with my family when I realized my macro shot was sitting right in front of me. I've been forgiven for dragging my tripod (and corn) outside and returning to a luke warm dinner thirty minutes later. :)
Happy MM to All!
When your husband comes home from a local organic farm with these incredible beauties, you toss aside the daily prompt and make them the star of the show! It's flag day, so I added blue(for blue week) to the red and white to honor the day as well. Maybe I'll be back to regular prompts tomorrow.
There is an older farmer who rents our pasture from us every summer so his cattle can have a place to graze. Today he stopped in to check on a new calf and while he was there we gave him some of our extra produce from our garden. Not that he is obligated, but he gives us a couple dozen of fresh eggs in exchange. I have to say these are some of the best eggs I have ever tasted. If you have the opportunity to buy fresh eggs as opposed to eggs bought at a grocery store you won't be disappointed.
I hope you all had an egg-cellent Saturday...haha!
Saturday's are generally family dinner night; my folks and their kitties come by for food and conversation. Although if you ask Sock, they're all here to see him.
This week we enjoyed some nachos; Scott tends to ask for nachos almost every day and in the name of not becoming gigantic I tend to say no. So, after two weeks of him asking I figured it was time for a treat.
Scott was beyond happy and the rest of us enjoyed the meal so I would say it was a win.
Hope everyone has had a good day.

A much-loved kid's fork, that came with a set of connectable knife, fork, and spoon, is still used today.
Happy Summer. Smile for the sunshine. It's finally here!

Calamansi has a unique and intense flavor all its own. When cut, a calamansi may look like an orange, but tastes much tangier like a lemon or lime. They are tropical and aromatic. This fruit can be used just like you would lemon or lime. Cebu, Visayas, The Philippines

These are eggs that I bought last week at a local farm stand. Unlike the eggs we buy at the grocery, these were beautiful colors, like light green and tawny brown. They make great custard, too ...
