I have just covered the Leica M3 with a grey griptac cover from the highly recommended www.cameraleather.com/leica_m/preview.htm. The operation was a breeze.

I've decided that i don't like the Summarit that came with the M3, so while I look for a decent M mount Leica 50mm, my perfectly fine Jupiter 8 can do the job for now.

And yes, the strap is a piss take :)
