an incredible merchant and shop at Harmonious Glade. I purchased a few floating sprites here. I could buy the whole shop!

Fantasy Faire, a benefit for the American Cancer Society, runs through May 6th.
"Come to see, victory in a land called fantasy,
Loving life, for you and me, to behold, to your soul is ecstasy
You will find, other kind, that has been in search for you,
Many lives has brought you to
Recognize its your life, now in review
And as you stay for the play, fantasy, has in store for you,
A glowing light will see you through"

It isn't unusual for the lines between fact and fantasy to get blurred. The moon would never look this large...except for the weird times that it does (this photo does NOT capture one of them). The world is full of moments where the typical is disrupted by the unusual. Nature is full of creatures that shouldn't exist...yet do. So is it so absurd to put one's faith in something (or Someone) outside the scope of "normal"? Having trust in God during a crisis can seem like believing in unicorns...and yet God has never failed me yet! So here’s some fantasy figs which I really like!
From left to right...
Dark Dwarf: pretty basic but I love the mid legs and his face
Assassin: He looks dope! Really like how he turned out!
Swamp Creature: Used the new snake body from Ninjago legacy
Mountain Elf: Probably my favourite in this figbarf, he has Hanzo’s hair with Gengi’s little ribbon piece in the hair. And He’s got a pet owl
Executioner: love this guy sorry for the cut off head I just wanted to show how creepy/ scary looking he is.
Peasant: like his cane and his overall colour scheme
Warrior: orm’s helmet and he looks cool
Gargoyle: like his legs I made and his face
Cheers

Is this the real life? Is this just fantasy?

I kind of can't even explain how this one happened. I bought a cat mask... I figured I should have something besides clown masks. A friend (that I have never met, but I know he has the potential to be my new best friend!) sent me photos of an abandoned house not far from me. There was a photo of this wall with the cat pictures hanging on it. The wheels started turning... then spinning...I have to go!! He told me where it was, where to park, how to get in.... he told me not to go alone (I, of course ignored that part... as I ignored the VERY large dog that kept an eye on me as I skirted the front of the house, dodging the trail cameras, ignoring the many NO TRESPASSING signs and quickly ducked in by way of an open window).
Probably the most bizarre house I have ever been in.... rooms with little doorways leading through other rooms, trudging through an ankle deep collection of God only knows what on the floor... I made my way up to this room... which turned out to be quite narrow, and I really needed a wider angle lens, and I forgot my remote shutter release, and it's incredibly difficult to see (and breath) with this mask on... and balancing my tripod on top of a few feet of debris... and hitting the shutter and hoping to make it safely to the wall beside the bed, where I had to hold my breath and stay very still and wait for the self timer to click off a long slow exposure... and twice I heard a noise that sounded like someone screaming "Cinnnddddyyyyy" ... I held my breath, no...actually at that point, I pretty much stopped breathing and then convinced myself that it was just a rusty hinge blowing in the wind somewhere... and then a new noise, which turned out to be sleet hitting the roof.... yeah, good times... wishing I had listened and not gone alone. And as I was leaving... I hear a very loud truck start up out behind the house, and I see a person...and pretty sure I'm going to be in trouble NOW.... but I made a run for it, back through the woods and back down to the road where I felt safe again. And this bizarre little photographic souvenir of the day... it'll do for now.... but who wants to go back in there with me and help me get it right?

*if you can’t tell, I’m loving my new backdrop.
