Europe in autumn, is real photo that takes traveling in train, watched and it felt to me within a fantasy!!!!!

Boy and Girl Dale each got a nice look at this year's Fantasy Faire.

I like the family resemblance in this shot. :)

I was sifting through my Lightroom library looking for a few good photos to transform into my first physical prints, and I found this little gem just sitting there ... unedited.

I remember the night I took this. I went to the parks to photograph around closing. It was so quite and peaceful, the way most guests never get to see the most Crowded Place On Earth.

Fantasy Faire is growing a bit on me, now that the bitterness of loosing Carnation has warn off with the return of Swing Dancing. WDI truly did a magnificent job on the carrying over the terrific Fantasyland theme.

As for the photo, it's a 20 second exposure. The highlights are a bit blown, but it seems more natural that way ... and I'm just not that into bracketing any more :)

Fantasy Fest has been cancelled in the past as it has this Covid 19 year. FF was cancelled in October 2005 due to hurricane Wilma, but locals had a mini FF in October and then a rearranged FF in early December 2005. Just a little FF history for you. The majority of this group of photos are local Key West folks

My photomontage called "Fantasy Forest' has been juried into the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art group show called PHOTOMORPHOSIS II. When I got the announcement about the upcoming show last July my imagination went into high gear. I wanted to create a photographic piece of art that included multiple of my photos and that also expressed something beyond just a grouping of images. Where to begin? I only had a vague idea of what it would look like when I started to 'build' my piece. I started with an image of moss draped trees I had taken up at San Simeon. After adding a creative filter to the trees I duplicated that image, flipped it and joined the two together. I now had a basic framework. From here I started to add my forest creatures one by one. After I had added each animal onto its own layer, I still felt the piece lacked a center of focus. So I experimented with several different images in the central area to see what inspired me. My sunset shot "Into the Light" gave me the feeling I was looking for. It carried my eye through the forest and into the golden light of the sun setting beyond the pier and into the ocean. The last thing I added to the image was the Moon Gate. It is the same shape as the Greek omega symbol. I like to think it adds a sense of the eternal to my artwork. All of the photos included in this piece are my own. It will be on exhibit from October 12th through November 18th at the Museum. The reception and award ceremony will be held on Saturday October 13th from 3pm to 6pm. I hope you can make it. I would love to see you there.

Fantasy Canyon is a Bureau of Land Management-managed area located about 27 miles (43 km) south of Vernal, in Uintah County, Utah. Even though the area is only about 10 acres (40,000 m2) in size, it contains some of the most unusual geologic features in the world. The site was officially documented by early explorer and paleontologist Earl Douglass, who recorded the area by other names such as “The Devil’s Playground” and “Hades Pit.” He published photographs of this area in a 1909 publication called “The Columbian Magazine.”

The rocks of Fantasy Canyon, quartzose sandstones, were deposited during the Eocene Epoch. They date from around 38 to 50 million years ago. During the geologic period, the Uinta Basin was occupied by a large lake called Lake Uinta. The lake extended 120 miles (190 km) west to Heber City, 30 miles (48 km) east to Rangely, Colorado, south to the Book Cliff Divide, north to the Uinta Mountains, and was about a half mile deep.

Fantasy Canyon is along the east shore of what was once Lake Uinta, where the sediments eroded from the surrounding high lands. Sediments were deposited and the once loose sands, silts, and clays were forged into sandstone and shale. Because of different rates of weathering, the more durable sandstone remained while the more easily weathered siltstone and shale washed away, yielding this spectacular scenery. Today’s geologic formations of Fantasy Canyon will eventually give way to weather and then topple and erode into sand, but new formations will appear as the topsoil washes away. Because the delicate formations are so fragile the area is referred to as “Nature’s China Shop.”

Boom! The Inn door opens with a stream of swearing heard from the inside and outside where in the doorway two decisive silhouettes are shown.

"Who?! Hey, give him to us, immediately! " - rawrs demandingly one of them, swinging with a long, furry tail, and showing a crystal sword. A feline with yellow, glowing eyes, wearing a heavy cape and holey scaly armor steps inside the Inn, spreading long whiskers, and grinning.

"You all should better do what we want..." - the winged other gently advices, sighing, and adjusts a glaive laying on one armoured shoulder. It's a dragoness, whose scaly body seems similar to lava, shimmering and hot.

A small dragon snorts, watching the room from her head. Everyone in the Inn gasps when the feline visitor leaps towards stairs on the top floor, where someone's shadow flickers...
