This time I remembered the camera AND it paid off ;-)
I was going to the supermarket - we needed some things.
On my way is the giant Metal School which is placed in the middle of nowhere. It lies on the hill on the other side of the lake, Buresø.
This is the 20 feet high pair of tongs that is the schools landmark, behind it is the most beautiful view where you almost can see Roskilde Domkirke.

Will never forget this beautiful little lakeside town called Iseltwald which is in Switzerland! We went here on my first trip to Europe about a year and a half ago and after seeing many more places since then it's still probably my favorite place in Europe so far! I didn't realize at the time of taking all these shots in Old Town Sacramento, that my ISO was set on 400. When the ISO should've been set to 100 or 200.

I believe this year the Gold Rush Day is August 31 to September 03, 2007.
Tomorrow is the last day of the Old Town Sacramento Ca. Gold Rush Day. If you can make it, it's worth going to. It's actually free to get in to the Entertainment and to Old Sac. Gold Rush Day.
The best time to go is on the weekend. This is when the Gold Rush Day is in full swing. The downside, is it will be very crowded on the weekend. All the vendors and musicians and those dressed up like the western days come on the weekends. That's not to say they don't have them on the non-weekend, just not as many of them show up untill the weekend and Labor Day.
The Gold Rush Day lasts for 4 days, the three days before Labor Day and the day of Labor Day. Every year Old Town Sacramento Ca. puts this Gold Rush Day on.
They have all the old buildings and sand all over the streets that really gives the feel like you're back in the old west.
When you step on the ground in Old Town Sac. you're not only feeling like you're in the old west but in many ways, you're really in the old west. Old Town Sacramento is historical and it comes right out of the old west.

This is another shot of that same butterfly shown below, but on this one I ratcheted up the saturation and contrast.
I really don't like how the leaf turned out on this photograph, but the leaf was badly overexposed so I had to fix a view things in this one.
I probably could have did a better job at fixing it, but I'm tired of working on it. LOL.
