I got this button in 1986 because it had a dragon on it. Later, I was told this was from the X-men comic series. I have been offered money for it, but I never gave it up. You can't tell, but the dragon is going "CoooOOOOOooool!"
I had to have some comic fans verify this was Lockheed.
I am not a comic book fan at all, really, which is odd in fandom. I don't hate or even dislike comic books, I always thought at the speed I read (I can read a 400 page novel in about 3.5 hours), comics were too expensive for the value they gave back. For example, the week I took these pictures, I went through two 200+ page graphic novels in about an hour. I got them as gifts, but if I paid the $19.95 cover price on them, I might have been disappointed. Just a quirk, I guess. Comics also tended to fall apart, and I am not the kind of guy who puts them air-tight vacuum bags because I am not that organized.
Thus, I often have no idea about any character anywhere in DC or Marvel comics if they haven't been made into a huge movie or something.
