This photograph was taken when Mark Goddard appeared at the Sydney Collectables Fair in Parramatta in Sydney in 1997.

My cousin is Scott Weiland's biggest fan. That's all I can say about this picture. This is Teresa at Thanksgiving time. She had just met him (again) and was telling me about his signing and show later in Hollywood. What is "fandom" ? I am also guilty as charged in the case of John Doe and Exene from "X" also Elton John. What makes us tick psychologically when it comes to this subject? Why do some of these public figures make us so gushy and feel so wonderful inside? It's a good thing, but it's a curious thing for sure.

K-pop garments as personal expression: Balko

Prolific style director Balko has worked with some of the biggest names in K-pop, including BTS and BLACKPINK. These garments reflect her wish for the K-pop industry to burst free from its restrictive idol system to go global in a punk, anarchic style. This dress, worn by f(x)'s Luna in the Madonna music video, and the white jumpsuit are covered with hand-painted extracts from the Korean national anthem, embodying Balko's wish for idols to freely express themselves without losing sight of their Korean identity.
