My #fancyforestquilt is finished!! It's been labeled, washed and dried and all ready for gifting this weekend. 💕🐰🐻🎉🎂 My beloved daughter is going to be thrilled with her rainbow colored quilt full of critters for her birthday celebration. Thank you all for your support and encouragement in the making of this quilt....it means so much! 🌈💕😘🌈

And I used Kona in Mushroom as the background fabric....a few have asked in the past. ✔️ .

The bunnies are done!! 🐰💕 Now that all the #fancyforest critters are complete, I can start to piece the top. This quilt had been labor intensive with so many pieces....but I know my daughter will be delighted! 💛🎁

I finished piecing the #fancyfoxquilt today! 🎁🎈 This quilt is huge....my husband is 6'5", and he's on his tip toes and the quilt is still hanging on the deck (finishes at 67" X 91"). Now, I need to seriously think about how to quilt this beast....any ideas would be greatly appreciated! 👍💕

All eight fireflies are complete for my daughter's #fancyforestquilt . 💜💗 So many pieces....so much room for distortion. 😁 The antennas were a little tricky, but they're done....and squared up. Whew! 🌈 #Fancyforestquilt

Starting to cut the pieces for my daughter's requested #fancyforest quilt and of course, I had to stop the cutting to sew one up. I like the scrappy feathers and looking forward to seeing my daughter's face when she gets this. 💚💚

I wanted to share the back of my #fancyforestquilt as I'm using 30 wt. thread for the first time. The thread is much thicker than I'm used to, and pleased with the density it's creating. 💕👍 I hope to have the quilting finished in tje next few days.

Adding some black and white gingham as the binding for my daughter's #fancyforestquilt . After spending several days quilting this, I'm glad I went outside of my comfort zone and practiced some #fmq. 🎂💝 Only hand binding, burying threads and labeling are left.
