Again, another neglected beauty near St.John's, NL.

Early Halloween, heavy composition jack o lantern man. His head has an original candle holder insert. (YIKES!). His head also comes off to reveal a hidden compartment where he would hold candy. One of my amazing September finds.

One of my flowers that did not survive the heavy frosts of the last week. It does have some charm though. It is apropriately creepy just in time for Halloween.

A walk thru my garden this afternoon revealed some surprises. The heavy frosts did not get all of my flowers. Some of them survived like this tiny pink rose bud. The only one on the bush on a branch snuggled up to the house.

Datura Seed Pod - more commonly know as Angel trumpets. This is a pod from my huge white ones.

One can never have too many candles. Never.

Weekends in the Fall in New England-always a Fair- Country Sale or just a "happening"- Join Me !

Although the wind was cold, the sun was shining so nicely. Since they are calling for snow flurries for the next 2 days, Nanny Alice and I went for a walk this afternoon (she walks on a leash like a dog). I found pretty leaves to take pictures of and she ate them.
