So last year, my winter boots were pretty much worn out so with the cold weather coming in, I've been on the look out for some new boots. One of Ricky's former employees had some nice Nike boots that she recommended, so we searched online and found the middle pair of boots. They're sneaker-ish on the bottom and go higher up my leg than my previous boots.. they're pretty comfortable and water resistant too! Plus we got them from a discount shoe website that had free shipping! Score!
The boots to the left & right of the Nike boots only cost $35 total! We went to a pretty sketchy area to get them but we were with one of Ricky's many acquaintances who got us hooked up with a small discount, so that was pretty sweet. Sadly, Ricky wasn't so lucky because the shoes he wanted didn't come in his size. Oh well, maybe next time!

I did a quick IKEA run today with a friends of mine. I needed a shelf for storing matthews bike stuff .. at the moment they have taken over our apt.... need to re-org!
funny story of the day : i called Klara, asked her to come with me to IKEA and have lunch with me. She said "sure! im in" So i pick her up and we head over to a coffee shop in redhook .. as i reach in to grab my wallet i realize that i have left it at home!!! so nice lil klara offers to buy me lunch AND whatever i need from IKEA. I felt sooo bad but she knew i woudl repay her so i guess its all good ... im taking her out for margerittas later on this week! My mind was all over the place ... arghhh!!
