READ book Mr Unavailable and the Fallback Girl For Kindle

Our stay in Kyoto is at an end, time to catch the Shinkansen back to Tokyo. With seats on the Fuji side, we caught a peek of the summit through the clouds. We arrived in rainy Shibuya, but that rain borked our plans, then our backup plans, and then our fallback plan fell through. Plan “D” landed us in an Irish pub. Luckily, we caught the very last subway back to the hotel.

It was raining and grim today, but no problem; I'd come up with a great idea and story for a picture, and today was clearly the right day to put it into practice. The only problem: the actual result sucked. My idea may be fine but the implementation was a failure. I couldn't get a version that I liked at all; what had seemed clear in my head was a complete muddle in the camera.

So. Yeah. 10:45pm and 'what on earth can I take a picture of that I don't hate, in heavy rain?'

Rocking it out...from the floor?

9.12.2010 I think I'm going to make pics of our cats my 365 fallback.

New pigs. Unnamed, but we'll probably call them "The pigs" until there's an obvious size difference and we can resort to the fallback "Big pig" and "Little pig."

This is pretty much what i was doing the last semester of school, a lot of depth of field studies. Its kind of my fallback, i think.

But I don't mind it so much. I'm usually pretty happy with the results.
