I went out on my deck this morning to throw some peanuts to the Blue Jays and,
just as my arm raised I noticed the ground moving! 16 Northern Bob Whites were
eating the seed fallen on the ground at the feeder! I ran to get my camera, as I
was firing off shots down swoops the Coopers Hawk! Of course I started yelling
"NO". They all scattered in different directions and I'm pretty sure the Hawk
got none.
Worried about them I kept listening for calls and. within the hour they were
reunited in my front yard with MORE.... 24 in total!! YAY Bob Whites!!
